Is distance marked
By miles to go
Bridges to cross
Or planes to catch?
Or is it measured
In silence,
Fear,
Uncertain glances?
Can not two embrace
Yet remain two
With walls about their hearts?
And can not two, though distant
Become one,
Across all space and time?
Let us then embrace,
Heedless of our long reach,
To grasp each others heart.
Love filling that space
Where our spirits walk as one. |
