In
the darkest night of eternity
God spoke.
Let there be light, God said.
And the sun rose for the first time,
And the moon and stars shown down
Upon the new land.
God took a lump of earth and
breathed.
And from this earth came mankind,
And from this breath came life.
And this life was full of what God was. |
|
And in this life was a gift.
A gift to live and to create,
As God lives and creates.
All that life brings us,
Both the good and bad,
Is as a lump of clay.
If we breathe love into it,
With love it will be filled.
If hated, then so hate will fill it.
We are the creators
Of what it will become. |
